The Practice

Brugman Law is the name of Alexandra K. Brugman's legal practice which serves Niagara North, Niagara South, and the surrounding area. Focussing on need-specific services, we deliver what a client requires to reach their own set of goals including their budget. For family and corporate clients, Alexandra Brugman can take you through the entire process from beginning to end or simply help you complete one or multiple stages of your legal journey. In estate matters, need-specific means strategizing to meet our client’s goals while minimizing future family and financial stress.

Alex Brugman

Alex was born and raised in the Niagara Region attending St. Paul High School in Niagara Falls, Ontario and Brock University in St. Catharines, Ontario. Alex has been volunteering in the community since high school and continues until this day.

Alex obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with a major in Psychology from Brock University in 2009. She completed her thesis and graduated with First Class Standing.

Alex has volunteered with the Knights of Columbus, the John Howard Society of Niagara, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Niagara North Community Legal Clinic. These experiences have only strengthened her interest in helping others through the law, particularly that of families. While attending law school at University of Ottawa, Alex volunteered with Women’s Legal Mentorship Program (W.L.M.P.), Legal Education and Action Fund (L.E.A.F.), and the Association for Women at Risk Everywhere (A.W.A.R.E.).

Alex graduated with a Juris Doctor from University of Ottawa in 2015 and completed her articles with Heelis, Little and Almas LLP in St. Catharines.

In her spare time, Alex loves getting outside as much as possible. She especially loves gardening, going to the beach, and exercising with her dogs.
